T-Bar Row
The T-Bar Row is a classic mass-builder that allows you to move heavy weight with a more natural pulling arc than barbell rows. The closer grip and the mechanics of the lever arm create a powerful contraction in the middle back while allowing the lats to stretch deeply at the bottom. Using a V-handle under the bar provides a neutral grip that reduces bicep strain and lets you focus entirely on back engagement. This is the exercise that built the backs of bodybuilding legends.

Pro Tips
- Keep your head neutral with your spine — do not hyperextend your neck to look up. Your torso angle should be roughly 45-60° — not completely horizontal. Focus on pulling with your back, not your arms — if your biceps are failing before your back, lighten the weight and focus on elbow drive. The 45° range of motion at the top (partial reps) is excellent for back thickness when you are too fatigued for full ROM.
